Game addiction are currently the fastest growing of addiction. The player play online game when they are bored or dissatisfaction with life and job. I used to play the on9 games long time ago but i realize that it will bring me to the addiction and wasting my times and money. There are some report show that about 50% of player consider themselves as addiction of playing online games. I still remember my first online game was RAGNAROK ONLINE. The game was very popular long time ago. This game, u can choose any kind of job and each of them have different type of skills. The objective of this game is TO BE THE STRONGEST AND EARN VIRTUAL ITEMS/MONEY AS MUCH AS U CAN. Seriously i said, when u play on9 game, u cant stop playing that and disregard ur routine. There are some cases where the player commit suicide because he/she fail to achieve the goals. People with mental health issues are more likely to be at risk for online game addiction.
so, let take a look how to overcome online game addiction:
Find new hobby
Yes, u should find new hobby like reading or riding bicycle. Find sumting that will keep u away from computer.
Tell ur virtual Friend that u are quitting
u can contact them through email or instant msg. They may give emotional support that u need to recover.
Decrease ur overall time playing
Before this, u played 24 hours.Try to reduce ur time playing by 2 to 4 hours perday. This cannot be help for those who are unable to control addiction.
Keep ur CD out of reach
U may lock it at the drower or sell it to ur friend.
